These terms apply to CalcFit, operated by MetaSys Limited (“we”, “us”, “our”). By using the site, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please stop using it. Contact: hello@metasysltd.com.
1. Educational use only
Calculators, explanations and example results provide general information. They do not diagnose, treat, prevent or monitor disease and do not establish a clinician–patient relationship. Read our Medical Disclaimer before using a health-related result.
2. Suitability and responsibility
Adult nutrition and body-composition tools are intended for adults. Parents and caregivers may use the child-growth information to support a discussion with a qualified clinician. Do not use adult cutoffs or calorie targets for a child. Pregnancy, breastfeeding, illness, medication, eating disorders and competitive sport can make general estimates inappropriate.
You are responsible for checking your inputs, units and assumptions and for deciding, with professional advice where appropriate, whether a result is suitable for your circumstances. Do not make medication, treatment or urgent health decisions using this site.
3. Access and acceptable use
You may access the tools for lawful personal, educational and professional reference. Do not interfere with the service, attempt unauthorized access, submit malicious code, impersonate others, or use automated requests that materially disrupt availability. Ordinary search indexing and linking to our pages are welcome.
4. Intellectual property
The CalcFit brand, original site design and original written content belong to MetaSys Limited or their respective licensors. Third-party equations, research, software and trademarks retain their own rights and licenses. You may link to CalcFit and quote reasonable excerpts with attribution where permitted by law. Do not imply our endorsement or republish the site as your own. Any separately distributed code is governed by its accompanying license, if one is provided.
5. Accuracy and availability
We aim to explain the methods and correct reported errors, but do not guarantee that every result or statement is complete, current or suitable for every use. Tools may be changed, corrected or withdrawn. Access may be interrupted. To the extent allowed by applicable law, the service is provided as available without additional warranties.
6. Liability and consumer rights
To the extent permitted by law, MetaSys Limited is not responsible for losses caused by reliance on an estimate, incorrect input, service interruption or a third-party website. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable liability for fraud or death or personal injury caused by negligence. Your mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
7. Third-party services and advertising
External links are provided for reference. Their operators control their content and privacy practices. Advertisements, if displayed, are not medical recommendations or endorsements. We do not currently sell products or subscriptions through CalcFit.
8. Privacy and messages
Our Privacy Policy explains data use. Please do not send medical records, passwords, payment information or other sensitive material through the contact form. You remain responsible for the content of messages you submit.
9. Changes and concerns
We may revise these terms as the service changes. The revision date appears on this page. Changes apply prospectively and do not remove rights that have already arisen. Contact us first about a dispute or concern; these terms do not restrict access to courts or remedies available under applicable law.
