Publisher and responsibility
MetaSys Limited publishes and maintains CalcFit. Page ownership is attributed to the company; we do not invent personal biographies, clinical credentials or expert endorsements. Unless explicitly stated with a real reviewer’s name and role, a page has not been medically reviewed.
Evidence and methods
We distinguish unit conversions, published population equations and informal planning assumptions. The sources directory describes those methods. Users should be able to understand the main inputs and the limits of a result. A formula’s publication does not validate every use of it.
Use of automation
AI-assisted tools are used in development and drafting. Automation can make mathematical and factual mistakes, so generated text is not itself evidence. We use implementation checks, source references and corrections to improve the site. We do not claim that automated checks amount to clinical validation.
Dates and corrections
The update date indicates a material page revision, not a new scientific study or medical review. We do not change dates solely to make old content look recent. If you spot an error, email hello@metasysltd.com with the URL, a description and, where possible, a reliable reference or fictional example.
Advertising and independence
Advertising, if enabled, is separate from editorial explanations. An ad is not a recommendation by MetaSys. Any future sponsored article or affiliate recommendation should be clearly disclosed where it appears. Calculator results are not adjusted to favor advertisers.
What changed in this revision
The launch correction replaces the wrong domain references, identifies MetaSys as operator, removes simulated contact success, removes the invented child BMI classification and metabolic-age output, and adds privacy controls and limitations. These changes do not imply that every historical claim on every calculator has received an expert review.
