MetaSys Limited operates CalcFit and is responsible for the personal information described here. This notice applies to CalcFit at calcfit.metasysltd.com. For a privacy request, email hello@metasysltd.com with “CalcFit privacy” in the subject.
Calculator inputs and results
Numbers entered into calculators are processed in your browser. We do not transmit your age, sex, weight, height, pregnancy information, other calculator inputs or calculated results to our server or analytics service. There is no account system or saved health profile. Your browser may independently remember field entries according to its settings.
Information used to deliver the site
Our hosting provider, Netlify, processes connection and request information such as IP address, requested URL, browser details and security logs to deliver and protect the website. This occurs even when optional analytics is declined. We use this processing for our legitimate interests in providing a secure, reliable service, subject to applicable law.
Contact messages
If you contact us, we receive the name, email address, topic and message you choose to provide. The website form is handled by Netlify; email is handled by our business email providers. We use messages to respond, investigate reported issues and administer requests, on the basis of our legitimate interests in support or, where applicable, steps requested before a contract. Sending a support message does not subscribe you to marketing.
Do not include medical records or sensitive health details. To report a calculator issue, use a fictional example. We keep correspondence while needed to resolve the request and for a reasonable period to address follow-up, disputes, security issues or legal obligations. Contact us to request deletion; information needed for a legal obligation or claim may have to be retained.
Optional Google Analytics
If configured, Google Analytics 4 loads only after you accept analytics in Cookie settings. It measures page views, a calculator-completion event without input values, and page performance. Google may process identifiers, browser/device information and connection information. We do not send form content or calculator results, and our own events omit URL query strings and fragments. Analytics data is not a medical record.
Consent is the basis for optional analytics where required. You can reject it and still use every calculator. Change or withdraw your choice using the Cookie settings button in the footer. Withdrawal stops future analytics from this site; it does not retroactively undo processing that occurred before withdrawal. Cookies and local storage
We store your analytics choice locally in your browser for up to 180 days. If you permit configured analytics, Google Analytics can set first-party cookies with a configured lifetime of up to 180 days. You can also clear site data through your browser. Read our Cookie Policy for details.
Advertising and Google AdSense
CalcFit may use Google AdSense when advertising is enabled. Google and its partners may use cookies, IP addresses and other identifiers to deliver and measure ads, prevent fraud and, where consent permits, personalize ads based on visits to this and other sites. Advertising is not enabled merely because you accept analytics.
Where required, advertising choices will be collected through a Google-certified consent management platform. You can use that platform’s privacy options to manage ad consent, and visit Google My Ad Center to manage Google ad preferences. Without personalized-ad consent, any ads served must respect the applicable consent signals and regional requirements. The absence of ads does not prevent you from using the site.
Recipients and international processing
Information may be processed by MetaSys personnel and providers involved in hosting, support, email, security and enabled Google services. Providers may operate outside your country. Where data protection law requires safeguards for international transfers, applicable transfer mechanisms and provider agreements are used. See Netlify’s privacy notice and Google’s linked notices for their practices. We may disclose information when required by law or necessary to address abuse or protect legal rights.
Retention and your rights
Calculator values are not retained by us. Consent storage expires as described above. Hosting and provider records follow their configured retention schedules and applicable service requirements. Analytics retention is managed through the configured Google Analytics property; contact us for the current setting or a deletion request.
Depending on where you live and the processing involved, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or obtain a copy of personal information, restrict or object to processing, withdraw consent, and complain to a supervisory authority. Some US privacy laws also provide rights concerning sale, sharing or targeted advertising. Advertising-related disclosures may fall within those definitions when ads are enabled. Use the advertising privacy controls or contact us to exercise applicable rights. We do not discriminate against people for exercising privacy rights.
We may need proportionate information to verify a request. Do not email identification documents unless we specifically explain a secure way and why they are needed. We respond within the period required by applicable law. UK residents may contact the Information Commissioner’s Office; residents elsewhere may contact their local authority.
Children, security and changes
CalcFit is intended for adults, including parents and caregivers using growth-related information. We do not knowingly solicit personal information from children. If a child has sent us personal information, contact us so we can address it. HTTPS protects information in transit, but no internet service can promise absolute security.
